Description
THE WESTERN DIGITAL ADVANTAGE
Western Digital puts our products through extensive Functional Integrity Testing (F.I.T.) prior to any product launch. This testing ensures our products consistently meet the highest quality and reliability standards of the Western Digital brand.

Features
Improve PC Performance
Give your desktop a performance and storage boost when you combine your hard drive with an SSD to maximize speed of data access and a WD Blue drive for up to 6TB of additional capacity.

Plan for the Future
With better technology comes bigger storage needs. Digital cameras that record ultra-high definition video at 4K resolution and 30 frames per second require a ton of storage. Handling all that media is a snap with our 6TB drive.

Easy Backup And Upgrade
Acronis True Image WD Edition software, available as a free download, can clone drives and back up your operating system, applications, settings and all of your data.

Technology To Help Protect Your Data
NoTouch Ramp Load technology safely positions the recording head off the disk surface to help protect your data.
3.5-inch HDD
Western Digital WD Blue™ 3.5-inch PC hard drives deliver solid reliability for office and web applications, and they are perfect for extra storage for desktop PC computing.
Tested For Compatibility
We perform tests on hundreds of systems and a multitude of platforms in our F.I.T. Lab to give our customers confidence that our drives will work in their systems.
Low Power Consumption
State-of-the-art seeking algorithms and advanced power management features help ensure low power consumption.
NoTouch™ Ramp Load Technology
Safely positions the recording head off the disk surface to protect your data.
Upgrading Your Drive is Easy
Seamlessly migrate your current system to your new Western Digital drive using Acronis® True Image™ WD Edition cloning software, available as a free download on the WD Support site. This software enables you to copy all your data to a new drive so you don’t have to reinstall your operating system to get all the benefits of a new drive.

It’s good that they have listed used items as well and assured that they take full responsibility for any defective item which they might deliver. It’s rare that defective item reaches customers premises due to hard tested product by themselves.

Western Digital has offered the 1 TB 7200 rpm EZEX model for a number of years now. I’ve collected a good number of them, and they all perform very well and haven’t had any issues. They even replaced my old 1 TB FALS Black WD drives from 2008 and 2009. The Blues are quieter and perform better.
I don’t know about any other of the Blue lineup other than the 1 TB 7200 rpm EZEX. Different capacities mean that the drives can be EXTREMELY different.
I’d get another one now except that my computer case can’t hold any more.
